Your Data

CUBIX is self-hosted. Everything it stores lives on the server it runs on, under the control of the person who runs it — not with Discord, not with the authors of the software it is built from, and not with any analytics or advertising service. Nothing is sold or shared.

What is stored

Mostly the ID Discord assigned you. An ID on its own says nothing; it is the key each feature uses to remember what belongs to you. Attached to it, depending on what you actually use:

• Settings you set for yourself, such as your profile card's background, font and colours.
• Counters a feature needs to work: experience and level, messages counted, time spent in voice, your balance.
• Things you created, so the bot knows whose they are — playlists, reminders, and the like.
• Moderation records, where a server's staff have used those features: warnings, notes, mutes and their reasons.
• Message content, only where a feature cannot work without it — a logging channel a server has switched on, or a quoted or pinned message.

Server settings are stored against the server's ID in the same way, and are set by that server's staff rather than by you.

Why it is stored

Because the features would not work otherwise. A level card cannot show your level without a level, and a warning that vanishes on restart is not a warning. Nothing here is collected to build a profile of you, and none of it leaves the server the bot runs on.

What you can do about it

• /mydata getmydata — sends you a copy of what is stored about you.
• /mydata forgetme — asks the bot to forget you. Some records that exist to prevent abuse, such as moderation history, may be kept; the command tells you which.

Cookies

This dashboard sets no advertising or analytics cookies, and there is nothing here to track you across other sites. What it does set:

• A session cookie, so the site knows you are signed in. It is readable only by the server, is not sent with requests from other sites, and goes when you sign out.
• A sign-in cookie, if you ask to stay signed in. Same protections, and it expires on its own.
• Three appearance cookies — your accent colour, background and sidebar theme — kept for a year so the site looks the same when you come back. They hold nothing but the look you picked, and are only written when you change one from its default.

Clearing them in your browser costs you nothing but your theme and another sign-in.

CUBIX is a heavily modified fork of Red-DiscordBot, maintained by 1Example. This statement describes this instance, which is why it is here rather than pointing you at Red's own documentation — that document describes unmodified Red, and this is not that.
